Load Rework

Load rework services, same shift, any hour

When a load shifts in transit, fails a DOT inspection, gets refused at the receiver or arrives built wrong, it has to be fixed before it moves again. Monarch reworks freight around the clock — restack, rewrap, repalletize, relabel and rebuild to whatever standard your customer requires.

Drivers do not need an appointment and do not need to wait for a warehouse crew to show up in the morning. Back in, we work the trailer, document the condition with photos, and get you rolling under one MON- reference number.

Capabilities

What load rework covers

Restacking shifted and leaning loads

Freight that moved during transit gets broken down and rebuilt to a stable tie-and-high pattern with proper weight distribution, so it passes inspection and survives the rest of the run.

Repalletizing and pallet exchange

Move product onto new stringer or block pallets, swap damaged or non-compliant pallets, convert floor-loaded freight onto pallets, or consolidate short pallets to reduce your outbound count.

Rewrapping and load securement

Machine and hand stretch wrap to your wrap spec, corner boards, banding, slip sheets, top caps and edge protection. We rebuild to the securement standard the receiver actually enforces.

Relabeling and retail compliance

Pallet placards, GS1 and SSCC labels, carton labels, routing labels and store-specific compliance rebuilds so the load is not refused or charged back at the DC door.

Damage segregation and salvage sort

Separate saleable from damaged product, photograph and document every exception, quarantine the rejects and rebuild the good freight so the bulk of the load can still be delivered.

Refused and returned load recovery

A refused load can be received here instead of riding back across the country. We inspect it, count it, rebuild it and hold or release it on your instruction.

Questions

Load rework, answered

What is load rework?
Load rework is any physical rebuild of freight after it has been loaded — restacking, repalletizing, rewrapping, relabeling or sorting — so it meets the securement, count or compliance standard required by the next stop.
How long does a rework take?
Most single-trailer reworks are completed within a few hours of arrival, depending on piece count and how much of the load must come off. Call (919) 601-2176 and we give you a realistic time window before the truck is dispatched.
Can you rework a load at night or on a weekend?
Yes. The dock runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays. Drivers are worked in arrival order with no appointment required.
Will I get proof of the rework?
Every rework is photographed before and after, with counts, exceptions and seal numbers attached to your MON- reference so you can pull it up on the tracking page any time.
