What Drivers Actually Need at the Gate: A No-Appointment Dock Checklist
We run 24/7 and take walk-ins without an appointment, but drivers who arrive prepared get turned in a fraction of the time. This is the short list.
Have these ready
- Your MON- reference number if a dock request was already submitted
- BOL and any rejection paperwork from the previous receiver
- Pallet count, approximate weight and whether the load is floor-loaded
- Trailer type and whether it is a live unload or a drop
- A phone number we can reach you on while the work is running
Booking ahead takes about two minutes
Submitting a dock request before you arrive gives you a reference number you can track and lets our floor plan labor before you show up. It is the difference between waiting for a door and being assigned one.
What happens after you check in
- You get a door assignment and a status you can track by reference
- Freight is worked, counted and photographed as needed
- Corrected paperwork is issued before you pull off the property
Bottom line
Five items and a reference number. That is the whole checklist — and the dock is open at any hour, including weekends and holidays.
